Green Smoothie

Sometimes you’re just in the mood for a refreshing beverage that gives you a nutritional boost & energy kick…. Coffee upsets my stomach, so I usually reach for a smoothie.. This is loaded with vitamins, minerals, protein…. all kinds of wonderful things!!! Hope you enjoy this recipe. Let me know if you try this & what you think!

Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk

1 cup frozen mixed berries

1 banana, cut in coins, frozen

1/2 package frozen spinach

4 oz. plain vegan yogurt

1 tspn vanilla extract

1/2 small scoop of pea protein powder

1/2 TBSPN chia seeds

1/2 TBSPN flax meal

Directions:

1) Cut up a banana into coins & freeze at least 3 hours or even overnight.

2) In a high speed blender, mix all of the ingredients until combined and smooth.

Serve.

    Yum! A refreshing pick me up! I like to keep a gallon freezer bag of banana coins in the freezer for smoothies. That way they are always ready 😀
