Today is my husband’s birthday!! He’s had an eventful weekend to say the least! After our car ended up in the shop days after being fixed for one issue, to find out the issue was worse than originally thought. (Car all fixed now!!) Then, the next day, we had participated in the Town Wide Tag Sale and by mid-afternoon, I landed myself in the ER, with some health issues. Ugh. (I’m doing fine now).

On Sunday, we celebrated my husband with our children and enjoyed a lovely meal and cake for dessert and he opened presents. We were able to enjoy a beautiful day together playing games & enjoying some outdoor time.

Monday we celebrated Labor day, visiting a beautiful reservoir near home, and playing more games ending the day with a delicious cookout meal and some movies. It was a rough start to the weekend but we ended up enjoying ourselves as the weekend progressed.

Today is his actual birthday. Please join me in wishing my sweet husband a “Happy Birthday”!! He is such a wonderful person who always does sweet things for me and our children and is always there to help anyone who needs it. He is funny, smart, creative (he can build just about anything!), and very sweet and romantic! He is my very best friend and I adore him!!

For his birthday cake on Sunday I made him a chocolate bundt cake and today on his actual day, he’ll be getting a strawberry rhubarb pie! He’s also going to enjoy some gluten free ravioli with homemade marinara sauce made with tomatoes & fresh basil from our garden! Hope you had a lovely holiday weekend!!
