Berry Breakfast Bowl

Make sure your ingredients are organic

For breakfast this Monday morning, I made this delicious and refreshing berry bowl. It’s such a nice partner to a side of eggs, beans or another type of protein. With Spring around the corner, this was just the thing to serve for breakfast.

The day started bright and sunny as well as warmer than usual and throughout the day it turned progressively cloudier and started to rain. I’ve been battling some dysbiosis and needing to eat more clean. This recipe certainly did the trick and started my morning out right. The nicer weather has been lovely as well, which really boosts my spirits!

My husband, Paul and I have started renovating our kitchen. It’ll take a full year to complete and we’ve decided, due to our busy schedules and me not feeling my best lately, to take the renovation one wall, one section of the kitchen at a time. We have finished one wall in our kitchen and will be, in a few months, revealing that wall as well as other parts of the renovation through a YouTube video!! My husband and I will be venturing into a new phase in our lives of a new YouTube channel!! We’re very excited!! I’ll be posting a link in the blog when we post our first post. It’ll be in a few months but we’re really excited for this new adventure!!

Stay tuned for news this summer!! Hope you all have a fantastic week! Remember to spring forward on your clocks on March 13!!! Spring is almost here!! ๐ŸŒท๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒž I cannot wait!! Is anyone else as excited for Spring as I am?

Here’s the breakfast bowl recipe: Enjoy!!

Berry Breakfast Bowl:

Ingredients:

2 cups mixed berries

2 cups coconut or almond milk

2 bananas, broken up in large pieces

2 pitted medjool dates

1/2 tsp ground turmeric

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp organic cacao nibs

2 Tbsps sunflower seed butter

organic sunflower seeds, to taste

Directions:

Place everything except the cacao nibs, sunflower seed butter and sunflower seeds in a blender until well blended. Pour into bowls. Drizzle the sunflower seed butter around the top of the berry mixture, then top with cacao nibs and sunflower seeds.

Just a little sweet photo of our Bella snuggling with her stuffed animal toy! She’ll be 13 this Saturday!! Happy early birthday to our sweet girl!! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’–
