Recovering nicely

After a rough few weeks of healing, I’m on the mend. I still have several weeks to heal completely as I’ve had a major surgery, but I’m feeling more myself and so glad I’m healing.

I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis and adenomyosis and had the disease removed by a very skillful and empathetic doctor. He is my hero. For the first time ever, I’m feeling like a healthy human being! I finally have answers and it is freeing!!

I have my niece, Samantha, who is a nurse, to thank for helping me find this wonderful doctor and finding out I had this disease! I felt heard and safe. My niece’s mission is to help as many women find answers as she can. She is another one of my heroes!

I have had such an outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and I am so humbled and grateful! Thank you to everyone who has helped me to heal on this journey! I am so blessed!! Please reach out to your doctors if you find you’re not getting answers and you feel this could be something you’re feeling or that you may have this. Unfortunately, not a ton of doctors, even Ob/Gyn’s are experienced in this disease, but they are out there. Please reach out to me if you’re wondering and I will give you the information I have. There is hope.

During this well needed time of rest, I have read some wonderful books, caught up on a lot of sleep, and writing, and had such a wonderful time being with my husband and son as well as seeing more of my daughter. I have had beautiful meals created for us and lovely flowers, plants as well as very sweet gifts sent to me and sweet well wishes. I am so deeply appreciative and moved beyond words.

I have been planning out more menus, more upcoming YouTube videos for the future and working on the planning of new projects to come. My husband has been cooking and cleaning and has been so sweet and attentive (as always). Thank you, Paul! You are my rock!! We had already had some videos created ahead of time and are still working on more. Hope you’re catching our videos on YouTube and enjoying them. Thank you for watching!
